Health and Safety Officer

Enviraz (Scotland) Ltd are looking for an experienced H&S Officer to join our team.

Enviraz (Scotland) Ltd offers a range of environmental services, specialising in asbestos removal and environmental cleaning, with various re-insulation and reinstatement trades.

Role and Responsibilities include, but not exclusive to:

  • Day to Day Management of Health & Safety
  • Policy Development
  • Site Audits
  • Risk Assessment
  • Chairing of Company Safety/Welfare committee
  • Correspondence with HSE
  • Accident Investigation & Reporting
  • Assessing subcontractor capabilities
  • Creation of files in relation to CDM
  • Performing safety inductions
  • Performing safety inductions
  • Management of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and Industry Accreditations

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) in Health and Safety
  • Chartered Member of IOSH (or working towards)
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislation
  • Experience advising a small/medium sized organisation with both office based and site-based personnel
  • Strong interpersonal skills both verbal and written, including excellent report writing skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work to tight timescales.

Experience in the Asbestos Industry and Asbestos Related Qualifications are preferable but not essential as training will be provided.

The position is based at our Hillington, Glasgow office with attendance at sites and our regional offices required. Therefore, the successful candidate will hold a full UK drivers licence.

Asbestos Removal Supervisors wanted!

As part of our continued expansion, Enviraz (Scotland) Ltd are looking to recruit fully trained experienced Asbestos Removal Supervisors on a full-time basis at all 3 offices (Glasgow, Elgin or Carlisle)

Full clean driving licences are required, with the certification to tow of an advantage.

Applicants must hold current relevant training and qualifications and be able to supply valid certification including CSCS, medicals, face fits and up to date training.

Asbestos Removal Operatives wanted!

As part of our continued expansion, Enviraz (Scotland) Ltd are looking to recruit fully trained experienced asbestos Operatives on a full-time basis at all 3 offices (Glasgow, Elgin or Carlisle)

Trainee Asbestos Removal Operatives!

As part of our continued expansion, Enviraz (Scotland) Ltd are looking to recruit trainee asbestos Operatives on a full-time basis at all 3 offices (Glasgow, Elgin or Carlisle)

Applicants must have construction industry related experience.

Contracts Administrator

Full Time / Permanent

Enviraz Scotland Ltd are an independently owned Asbestos Removal Contractor based in Central Scotland offering a range of Asbestos Remediation and Management Services to Public and Private Sector Organisations.  We  are seeking a motivated individual to join our operations team as a Contracts Administrator.

Project types
Asbestos Removal and remediation

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with our contract management team
  • Organise incoming and outgoing paperwork to ensure quality standards are met
  • Administration of training systems and ensuring re-certification is coordinated in a timely manner
  • Administration of project workflows
  • Liaising with our client contacts to assist in the coordination of our site teams
  • Assisting with the pre-construction processes (Quotation/and Order preparation);
  • Assisting with contract programming and scheduling
  • Assisting with project handover
  • Internal quality and compliance auditing

Key skills and qualifications

  • Strong IT and reporting skills alongside good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and proficiency with fundamental Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Ability to work flexibly and prioritise workload
  • Construction industry experience preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently;
  • Confident, driven and enthusiastic to succeed within an established organisation
